Goodbye from tumblr

venusprincess-simblr:

My blog has been flagged as explicit adult content. I wasn’t even notified by tumblr.
My blog no longer shows up in the search, it’s now a ghost blog. So after 17th of December it will be gone.
I can’t even backup it up, because it’s still “processing” for 2 months -.-

I have 20744 posts and I can’t go through all of them, to check what’s flagged and what’s not. But if the full blog is flagged, I doubt it will show on individual posts anyways.
And I don’t even think my posts are nsfw, unless of course they count sims male nipples, and sims butt cracks -.-

I put so much effort on my blog through out the years, organizing the downloads tag, organizing my sims, I don’t even want to think of the characters pages that took me days too get the html to work.
I was working on bios, and new mermaid and merman characters, and now I won’t be able to show you that.

I have social anxiety and I’m very social awkward, I know I don’t interact much (even though I try), but I appreciate every interaction with you, whether it was on the chat, ask, comments, anything. I want to thank you all for these years, I never though my blog would reach what it did 😀 so many followers that I never expected, so many wonderful people that I met here, including my best friend <33
Thank you all for making my tumblr experience better and for accepting me as I am ❤

When I found tumblr I thought it was a great site, for me it’s better than facebook or twitter. I like easy posting and it’s options, the reblogs, the archive I like that we could edit the themes, and make each blog according to our personalities, I like that we could be ourselves here.
I used tumblr as an escape from real life and that will soon be gone, so I’m not sure what will happen.
For now I will post my cc on facebook and patreon. And then we will see.

Here are my other social medias, even though I don’t like or use them as much.

@staff Thanks tumblr for ruining people’s escape. Next year, they will flag ankles as nsfw.

You can check here if your blog is set to explicit: http://www.postlimit.com/

the single greatest creator of the most wonderful Greek and Roman clothes (those of their CC rebloged here, not to mention all other categories their infinite creativity has given us) is going to be deleted from Tumblr.

Not just sad – it’s stupid and unfair.

The Tumblr that we knew is dead for good.

Will check where to tranfer grecoromansimspoetry, since I don’t want to generate any traffic for Tumblr anymore.
