Around the Sims 3 | Women hair mesh – Braided Bun

Look at this, my very first (and probably very last! :D) Sims 3 hair mesh!
It’s a Frankenmesh (mix of two meshes) that I originally made for Sims 4 but that I wanted for Sims 3 as well, though it looks a bit different in Sims 3 (I struggled hard with the Sims 3 head shape! :D)
As this hairdo could perfectly fit with afro-hair, I made a second version with afro-textured hair.
Also, it’s my first hair mesh, so it’s not perfect, please be indulgent! 😉

TSM Spy Hood as Hat-Hair

This one has been converted as an accessory before, but I prefer hat-hair for parts that I can’t fit hair under anyway.

  • Three recolourable channels: Outside, inside, seam
  • Enabled for male/female, teen-elder, everyday, formal, career, firefighting and outerwear. Found under Hat Hair 🙂
  • Smooth bone assignment, so it moves with the head.

Will be there be a moment when I will learn how to make appealing previews? I don’t know. But I know that I’m very excited to share a hair conversion with you! The mesh has its flaws but these are original issues. Also my retexture isn’t perfect but I guess it will do for now? Now onto details:

First up is a hair from the new store set called Surfing Side Braid. It is a hat hair because it has a tiny rubber band at the end of the braid. Both hairs are .package format only because I couldn’t get them to work with TSRW.
