Welcome to Sa Pineda! – 700 followers gift – Midnight Sun Challenge World

WORLD DETAILS:

This world is on a tiny map (256×256), It has 5 lots (1 Residential, 4 Community). No Rabbitholes included. Almost all spawners placed (except the WA ones). It includes custom INI files and recolors by me and Gelina’s lightning tweaks. No 3rd party CC!

THEME:

This world is based on Costa Brava in Catalonia. The Name “Sa Pineda” means “The Pine Forest” in the Salat variety of the Catalan language.

USE:

This world has been made for the Midnight Sun Challenge. However you can also use it to take pictures, or whatever you want. You can edit the CAW files too 🙂

Read the rules of the Midnight Sun Challenge HERE. Download NRaas’ REGISTER MOD to disable paparazzis, wild animals, tourists, etc.

Having Monte Vista is important because of the trees and plants that have been used.

KNOWN ISSUES:

When sims swim in shallow water in the diving lot they rise above the water and go back to the normal level once they have left the shallow area. It doesn’t affect playability.

Beautiful Sa Pineda is perfect for a Greco-Roman story, and the pretty lighthouse can easily be deleted to send this world back into timelessness.

DAO Apothecary as Storage

Reenadelenyel gave me a GREAT suggestion to turn the Apothecary I uploaded here into a functional Storage unit. And Tumblinrob was quick to send me amazing information after I freaked out, and then Reenadelenyel gave me additional support; everything coming full circle. It takes a village to raise a simmer, as they say! So don’t thank me; thank them! ❤

You can find it under Misc. Storage, and Misc. Surfaces, for 200 simoleons. In Live Mode just click on it and the options will pop up. And you can click and drag collectibles to store inside. Neat-o!

Is it now practical storage? Like a WA chest. 😀

Yes, it adds the WA Chest’s Storage ability, without needing the Open Chest animation. It’s base game only, too! Script Edit Mods are pure magic.

Goes well in a Sims 3 Tablinum, I’d say.

Roman Outfits

An age conversion inspired by a cc-wish of tencentsims. I felt like doing it thoroughly and made Teen, Adult and Elder versions. The original color presets are included to match the kids’ version that came with Seasons. Enabled for Everyday, Formal, Athletic, Martial Arts, Career and Outwear.

There are two versions of the helmet, one requiring Seasons and one Basegame compatible. The Seasons version is a tenth of the BGC’s filesize, and I wish this would have been possible for the outfits as well, but they’re all Basegame compatible.

I categorized the helmet as male-only. The mesh does fit females, though. If you want them unisex, simply recategorize with s3pe. For users unfamiliar with s3pe, I’ve made an override that does exactly this. It comes with install instructions.
