Looking back from the
top of the thick wall on which he stands, Tobio finally realizes the desert, which he imagined
immeasurable, to be no more than an enclave of sand, a cage enclosed by the solidly erected tall walls, in the middle of what is
immeasurable indeed – the dam.Letting his eyes wander up to the subtle line where water and air meet and dissolve into the same endless blue, a serene blue his eyes suck up until his heart and soul pacify, Tobio immediately feels relieved and reinvigorated by the humidity, the
cooler temperature, the gentle breeze that agitate the wings which have sprouted up at his back in his ascent.
