A Day at the Museum
One can really empathize with Pygmalion….
CAPTIONS AS TEXT
– What better way to end a marathon of period films & tv shows all set in Antiquity, than to go to the local museum and see the real deal?
– Agron sighed, “Who cares if the show was historically inaccurate; it’s TV! How’s walking around here supposed to make any diff–”
– “WOAH! Check out the schwanz on that one!” Nasir chuckled. “It’s a discus athlete, Agron. Many of them practiced near to fully nude.”
– Agron was floored. “But this shite is like PORN! Kids are walking around – what the – What are these guys DOING!!?”
– “Wrestling,” Nasir read the placard. Agron was aghast. “With the bloke’s cock up his arse!?” Nasir laughed. “Don’t you get any ideas, Aggy!”
– “I guess you were right; they really DID fight naked back then! SCHEISSE! So many great scenes wasted on that show! I’ve been cheated.”
– “Told ya so~!” Nasir took some time to examine the frescoes, listening as the tour guide explained the rigorous restoration attempts.
– But behind them Agron was paying zero mind. “Nasir, did you know the phallus was considered a protective symbol to ward off evil?”
– “They even carved them on streets and buildings! GODS! We need to visit Monte Vista one day and see these ruins! Incredible place!”
– “See, Aggy,” Nasir crowed. “Told ya coming here’d be great! Look at you, all fired up to see the rest of the exhibits! I’m glad!” ^_^

MY THOUGHTS
I can easily imagine Agron getting a real kick out of going around ogling all the homoerotic artwork and explicit nudity, then buying a whole book on Classical Art at the gift shop, claiming he’s being all cultured and educated when really he’s only in it for the porn. 😛
I’m just thinking of how Nasir gallivanted around the better portion of Season 3 with a necklace made of apotropaic phalluses (that Agron probably gave him, cuz it sounds like something he’d do. XD).
[ -~❤ TERA conversion – Winged Band ❤~- ]
☆ Non-Recolorable
☆ Adjustable with aWT’s hat sliders
☆ Mesh and Texture by Bluehole StudiosKnown issues:
- If you equip and remove an accessory after you equip this, the other accessory’s texture will get stuck on the winged band’s mesh. This is only a problem in CAS and it will look fine in-game!
- Depending on the angle of your sim, one or both wings may disappear. I don’t think this is fixable, sorry~ ;w;
If you use this or any of my other cc, I would love if you would tag “ribbonsims”! I will reblog you on my side blog~
Enjoy~ ❤

– 15 round floor marble mosaics 4×4 by Andante Zen –
I needed these in my buildings, both for Oneiroi and +CRUX+, and decided to share.
They are 4×4, found in Rugs, costing 33, with the 15 variations you can check above, not recolorable.
I have also made these 2×2 mosaics. Greek and Roman themed frescoes, stencils and medallions I have released earlier are under the tag #my cc
Hope you like them, and I’d love to see them in your buildings – please tag me. Cheers!

Dear friends, here I come with more CC of mine that nobody wants – but that I need to create a Greco-Roman world, and might as well share with you 🙂
These 5 frescoes depict episodes of the life of Apollo, as related in Ovid’s Metamorphosis. They are neither Roman nor Greek but Italian of origin – studies attributed to Jacopo Guarana, an assistant and associate to Tiepolo.
They can be downloaded HERE and at SimFileShare.
The Roman stencils beneath them are better seen and linked HERE.
I’m uploading all my Greek and Roman CC to SimFileShare, so there’ll be a few reblogs ahead.
