40 x 40 lot | Visitors Allowed | 17 Avon Avenue in Monte Vista

DOWNLOAD

This lot is based on EA’s Etruscan Park at Monte Vista. I’ve built a pond where the festival grounds were, and made it look like the ruins of some Roman Thermae, profiting from the pretty views from the hill.

I play with all EPs, so it might contain pieces from all, especially with buydebug on.

There is little CC in it – this tomb roof, and I might have thrown one lemon tree or two in there too, just to add more Mediterranean feeling to it – but having them or not won’t make much of a difference for the lot.

More important is the Mediterranean light mod by Nilxis if you want the water and sky to look so blue. If you add his Realistic clouds then… you’ll have something else to appreciate from this historical site, and you might never want to leave…

Would you like, please check my RL inspiration for this lot here.

I hope you enjoy it, and please do contact me if you have any problems or doubts. This is the first lot I upload, ever, ok?

Böcklin’s Isle of the Dead for The Sims 3

Download sims3pack from dropbox

Requirements: World Adventures only, but will also work with just Base Game.  CC and store content free!

To use: place the largest lot size on open water.  You may need to smooth the edges of the lot.  That’s it!

I know it is a bit early… Happy Simblreen! (my first Simblreen and Tumblr still mystifies me.. What I’m saying is I have no idea how to do Simblreen but I’ll do my best)

“Not knowing the history of the early versions of the painting, many observers have interpreted the oarsman as representing the boatman Charon who ferried souls to the underworld in Greek mythology. The water would then be either the River Styx or the River Acheron and his white-clad passenger a recently deceased soul transiting to the afterlife.”  – and so have I, Andante Zen, until this day.

The painting, though, has a much more interesting story and many versions of it.

It’s fabulous to find it in Sims3!
