Midnight Hollow Dreads without Accessory for Male Sims
These have been done for female, but a really long time ago I made my own version for male Sims. Textures are from the store hair, but the original is not required.
Not much to explain here – I took this gender conversion of a store hair by Aikea Guinea. I smooshed the mesh round a bit. I changed the texture. (Ismael has undergone an unconvincing dye job in some photo so you can all see it clearly)
It’s not perfect, but if it’s not perfect in a way that is actively detrimental to your game, please do let me know. You shouldn’t need the store hair, and it shouldn’t clash with anything.
I’ve been dying for more male hair to play with, so this is what happens. And y’all know how much I hate making hair.
This miniset includes two braided hairs from Dragon Age: Origins, set for Y/A – Adult males, Everyday – Outerwear, etc etc, and yes, the RGB channels are lame as usual.
DAO AM Cornrows
This hair mesh gave me so many problems but it was worth it.
Granted, it’s not exactly sitting directly on the scalp like it should, but would you rather have slightly floating gaps or clipping eyesores? I thought so.
Also, said scalp does really strange things in CAS when you put tattoos and makeup on your sim, the textures bleed together and it’s wild, but it goes away in Live Mode, so don’t despair (like I did when I first saw it :P).
The RGB channels are garbage; sue me.
Next up!
DAO AM Braid
Nothing much to say about this hair; it was infinitely more well behaved than the first mesh.
But alas, the RGB channels are as lazy as lazy can be, oh frikkin well.
Texture by me,I apologize for any flaws, this is my first retexture and perhaps the last, because I did it very long time….and I do not like it … there is something to work on,but I’m lazy)))
