WER, wenn ich schriee, hörte mich denn aus der Engel Ordnungen?”
“Who, if I cried out, would hear me among the Angelic Orders?”
Rainer Maria Rilke, The Duino Elegies
(how will this scene follow the last post of LoSSS? Don’t want to spoil the next update, but I have been writing, have been taking screenshots, I have been editing…)
Margaery Tyrell took her newlywed husband Renly Baratheon, her brothers and cousins to the lake near the ruined Castle of the Gardener kings where they enjoyed the hot summer day. Here their secrets were safe, even for Loras and Renly…
I’ve been dying for more male hair to play with, so this is what happens. And y’all know how much I hate making hair.
This miniset includes two braided hairs from Dragon Age: Origins, set for Y/A – Adult males, Everyday – Outerwear, etc etc, and yes, the RGB channels are lame as usual.
DAO AM Cornrows
This hair mesh gave me so many problems but it was worth it.
Granted, it’s not exactly sitting directly on the scalp like it should, but would you rather have slightly floating gaps or clipping eyesores? I thought so.
Also, said scalp does really strange things in CAS when you put tattoos and makeup on your sim, the textures bleed together and it’s wild, but it goes away in Live Mode, so don’t despair (like I did when I first saw it :P).
The RGB channels are garbage; sue me.
Next up!
DAO AM Braid
Nothing much to say about this hair; it was infinitely more well behaved than the first mesh.
But alas, the RGB channels are as lazy as lazy can be, oh frikkin well.
Clearing out my queue with another edit of a Supernatural clothing item! I was going to use the vampire dress in-game but, once again, it’s way too shiny >.< In addition to lowering the brightness of the base and specular, I also changed the pattern tiling for the dress and scarf in preset 2, and it now tiles at 8×8 instead of 4×4. The color options remain unchanged from the SN version.
It’s kinda hard to tell the difference on the dress from the pic above, but if you take the Sim into CAS and have them wear the original dress and then change to the edit, the shine is very noticeable (especially on dark colors).
+ For Young Adult / Adult females. + Enabled for Everyday, Formal, Career, Makeover, Random. + Second preset has 8×8 pattern tiling.
