This is an enhanced star field that I converted from Skyrim. I got this idea after seeing Buhudain’s latest start field edit and loving the idea.

This mod can be used in combination with any lighting mod, although results may vary from picture depending on star brightness.

Big Star Default Star Field by aminovas

Happy Simblreen!  Here are some stars to light your way from door to door.  

I am sure many of you already enjoy default star field replacements. Most of the existing star fields give you smaller stars in High Definition.  Sometimes I want larger stars.  Larger, rounded, cartoon-like stars.  Stars that will stand out against a brighter, more colorful night sky.  Stars that will really pop out in the background of photo shoots.  

I made this ages ago to go with a lighting mod (unreleased) that has a relatively bright night sky.  My default star field features slightly less stars and slightly larger stars than the original star field.  They are irregularly rounded like the original but with higher contrast.  The game already has ways of creating depth of field by fading out some patches of the star field, so I’ve made all of my stars bright white.  There are irregular clusters of more and smaller stars.  I hope you like it!

A Random Selection of Default Recolors: Subtley Shifted Flowers

As I labor along trying to finish all the various elaborate plant-creations I was silly enough to start, I often (almost always) forget to keep it simple.  It doesn’t take much to change the look of this game.  My eyes burn with the original plant colors.  Intolerable.  So, I fixed some of them.  I could wait until I’d recolored ALL the base game and EP plants before I shared it, but, darn it, that might never happen.  

Here is a small selection of Base Game and EP flowers DEFAULT replacements.  These are just gently recolored to be a bit softer and slightly muted and a bit more vintage-ish looking.  For those of you who like that kind of thing (I do).  The colors are all similar to their original colors, and so they will not clash with any of your existing color schemes.   

More to come, soon, I promise!  I believe the only one here that isn’t base game is the white hydrangea (ambitions), but, honestly, it doesn’t really matter because if you don’t have the EP it won’t do anything for you.  They are all in one package.  Feel free to open it up in S3PE and delete what you don’t want!

Please use these however you like!  No TOU (but credits do help us keep our content straight).

Random Default Plant Recolors Part 2

for the Sims 3

Part 1 is here!  Toned down, muted, slightly sweetened or de-saccharined flowering plants.   *NEW* Sept 29 2014: Non-defaults are here!

What is included?  Purple and yellow heather, Rhododendrons, yellow daisies, chinese lantern plants, lilac, azaleas, pansies, and lantana.  Oh, and a coleus, inverted. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the EPs that these are from.  This is a simple default override (texture files only).  These are all in one package, so if you really want something removed or changed and you don’t use S3PE, send me an ask and I’ll see what I can do!  What else?  I don’t know.  Put it in mods/packages.  

TOU? don’t be mean!  (do whatever you like with these! just don’t reupload unchanged and claim as your own, because that is mean)
